MANCHESTER - Jacqueline A. St. Hilaire, 65, of Manchester, died Jan. 25, 2013, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a period of failing health. Born in Manchester on Sept. 21, 1947, she was the daughter of Hertel and Clara (Gagnon) Bellemare. She was a lifelong resident of the Queen City. Mrs. St. Hilaire attended Manchester High School Central. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in human services from Springfield College. Early in her career, she worked at Notre Dame Hospital as well as Sacred Heart Hospital. Until her retirement, she was a ward secretary at Elliot Hospital for 30 years. She was a communicant of Saint Augustin Church. Mrs. St. Hilaire enjoyed making crafts, quilts and soda dolls. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Family members include her husband of 48 years, Paul J. St. Hilaire of Manchester; her son, Todd M. St. Hilaire of Manchester; two grandchildren, Seth and Kody; a sister, Loretta Bell and her husband, Donald, of Manchester; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Scott P. St. Hilaire, in 2010. . services: Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union St., corner of Concord Street, Manchester. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
