ObituaryJacqueline M. Davis, 79, of Ft. Myers died December 9, 2005, she was born in Fairfield, AL, a daughter of the late Stanley H. and Mary Alice Moss. Jacqueline graduated from Stanford University with a degree in education and taught in the Lee County school system for 42 years. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gama Sorority, she was in the Dixie Bell and the Blue Notes Band, she moved to the local area in 1968 from Jacksonville. She was a member of the Disabled American Veteran's Auxiliary of Cape Coral, Lee County Retired Educators, Ladies of the Elks, Women of the Moose N.O.A.C., Eagles of Ft. Myers, Member of Ft. Myers Stamp Club, Jacqueline was a piano teacher for many years.Mrs. Davis is survived by her son and daughter-in-law John (Kerry) and Judy Davis of North Ft. Myers, her daughter and son-in-law Yolanda and Jamey Adcock of Washington, her brother Charles Kay Moss of Alabama, her grandchildren John, Quinn, Bailey, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Jacqueline was predeceased by her husband John Davis, Jr. in 1980 and her brother Russell Moss.A funeral service celebrating her life will be conducted in the Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday at 2 PM, the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-2 PM.In her memory memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 Health Park Circle, Ft.
