Obituary of Jacqueline-G. Benoit


WEST SPRINGFIELD - Jacqueline " Jackie " G. Benoit, 62, passed away March 19, 2005. She was born June 5, 1942 a daughter to Robert and Marguerite (Parent) Benoit. Jackie enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, painting, bingo and watching game shows and soap operas. She was predeceased by her father in June of 1988. She leaves her dog, Bijou; her mother, Marguerite of West Springfield, her 3 brothers; Robert E. and his wife, Barbara of Massapequa, NY, Ronald L. and his wife, Christine of Las Vegas, NV, and Jeffrey J. and his wife Anne-Marie, of West Hatfield; her 2 sisters, Denise M. LaBelle of West Springfield and Janine M. Prokop and her husband, Burt of Montgomery, MA; 13 nieces and nephews and 4 great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 8:45 a.m. from the Toomey-O'Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in the Mont Marie Chapel of Holy Family Parish, 15 Holy Family Rd., Holyoke at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, Olsen St., Chicopee. Calling hours Tuesday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Springfield Diocese, Research for the Deaf, 65 Elliot St., Springfield, MA 01105.
