Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister; 70 FITCHBURG -- Jacqueline C. (Bissonnette) Godin, 70, of Fitchburg, MA, died Wednesday, August 31, 2011, in Golden Living Center.She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Normand Godin; her four daughters, Rita E. Cormier of Greenville N.H., Theresa M. Folmer and her husband, Darren of Fitchburg ,MA, Norma J. Amblo and her husband, David of Lunenburg, MA, and Cheryl A. Godin-Ricciuti of Fitchburg, MA; four brothers, Richard Bissonnette of Fitchburg, MA, Joseph Bissonnette of Fitchburg, MA, James Gauvin in New York, and Robert Bissonnette in New Hampshire; seven grandchildren, Dennis Amblo, Brittaney Cormier, Stephanie Amblo, Sabrina Folmer, Nicholas Cormier, Jennifer Amblo, and Antonio Ricciuti; two great-grandchildren, Kairi McManus and Connor McManus.She also leaves several nephews and nieces.She was predeceased by one sister, Katherine Bissonnette, and one brother, Raymond Bissonnette.She was born in Farmington, Maine on June 19, 1941, the daughter of Roland and Rita (Gauvin) Bissonnette, and had lived most of her life in Fitchburg, MA.Jackie was a waitress for the former Sandwich Shop in Fitchburg, MA. She also worked as a teacher for the Head Start Program, and most recently worked at Wal-Mart.She and her husband were life members of the Good Sam Club, she also enjoyed playing bingo, craft painting, and was an avid reader.A devoted mother and wife, she most enjoyed being with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she adored.She had been a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church in Fitchburg, MA.GODIN -- Funeral services and burial were held on Friday, September 2, 2011 in Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, in Winchendon, MA. At her request, there were no calling hours. In her memory, donations may be made to: The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 60 East 56th Street, 8th floor, New York, NY 10022 or to the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial, P.O.
