Fowler, Jacqueline B. ALBANY Jacqueline B. Tompkins Fowler, 75 of Quarry Drive, Albany, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany. Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late James and Catherine Adamakis Tompkins. Jackie graduated from Cohoes High School. She retired from the NYS Department of Taxation in Albany. She was a wonderful wife and selfless mother who loved her friends and family. She will be dearly missed by everyone she knew. Jackie was sensitive, kind, compassionate and understanding with a beautiful spirit and had the purest of hearts. She put everyone's needs ahead of her own. If there was ever an angel on Earth, it would be her. She is survived by her loving daughters, Karen A. Fowler, Linda S. Fowler, both of Albany, and Donna L. Fowler of Clifton Park; brother George Tompkins of Cohoes, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Dolores Bailey, twin sister Joyce Tompkins; brothers, James, Thomas, Ronald and William Tompkins. Jackie's family will receive guests Sunday from 4-7 p.m. in the Fitzgerald Funeral Home Ltd., 105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes, N.Y. Interment will be private.
