Jacqueline-A. Savard, born in 1942, spouse of Christian Baslow, daughter of Winfred and Yvette, mother of Beth, Bernard and Matthew, died on March 2, 2005 at 63 years old.
NEW HAVEN — Jacqueline A. Baslow, 63, died March 2, 2005, at the Vermont Respite House in Williston, with cancer.She was born Feb. 15, 1942, in Winchendon, Mass., to Winfred and Yvette (Morin) Savard.Mrs. Baslow worked as a waitress, hospice person and, more recently, as a developmental home care provider for the Addison County Counseling Service. She founded a Food Shelf program for needy residents of Bristol, New Haven, Monkton, Lincoln and Starksboro, and worked with her husband in various Christian healing ministries.Survivors include her parents of Westmoreland, N.H.; her husband of 19 years, Ralph C. Baslow Jr. of New Haven; her daughter, Beth Roscoe of Bristol; her sons, Bernard Lavigne of Breckenridge, Colo., and Matthew Williamson of Salisbury; her stepson, Jeff Baslow of Bakersfield; her brothers, Winfred Savard Jr. of Westmoreland, N.H., Wesley Savard of Milford, Mass., and Ronald Savard of West Swanzey, N.H.; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol.The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St Ambrose Church in Bristol.Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in New Haven.Memorial contributions may be made to Vermont Respite House, 99 Allen Brook Lane, Williston VT 05495.
