Jacob Anderson COLUMBIA - The Homegoing Service for Mr. Jacob Anderson will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2014, at the Progressive Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ (527 Longtown Road, Columbia) with burial in Memorial Gardens of Columbia. Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home (2930 Colonial Drive, Columbia) has been entrusted with the arrangements. The visitation for Mr. Anderson will be held today at Progressive Church from 6-8:00 p.m. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Jacob was a beloved son of the late Henry and Cora Lee Gadson Anderson. He passed away December 4, 2014, in Palmetto Health Baptist in Columbia. He was 66. Mr. Anderson was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was employed with the City of Columbia's Wastewater Division. He was a member of Progressive Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife Belendia Anderson; his daughters: Tatahisha (Dinichie) Smith-Ashe, Ellena Coretta Dewitt, Melissa (Pervis) McCloud and Miracle Danielle Gleaton; eight grandchildren; siblings: Thomas (Willette) Anderson, Evelyn (Carlee) Moser and Malverse Anderson; and many other loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
