CARTER, JACK PARKER, 69, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2007 at the Monroe County Medical Center. He was born in Monroe County, Kentucky February 25, 1938 to the late Abe and Evelyn Evans Carter. Jack was retired ASCS County Executive Director serving 32 years. He married Sue Welch December 1, 1967 in Columbia, Kentucky. Jack is survived by his wife, Sue Welch Carter, of Tompkinsville, KY; son, James Jeremy Carter of Tompkinsville; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery Parker and Christina Carter of Bowling Green, KY; three grandchildren, Addison Grace Carter, Will-Parker Carter, John Caldwell Carter; one brother, Dr. James E. Carter of Tompkinsville; one sister, Rebecca Carter Nevius of Louisville, KY. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home with Mr. Jim Carter, Mr. Lanny Judd, and Bro. Darrick Proffitt officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Oak Hill Cemetery.
