WALKER, June (nee Hewitt) Passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Sunday December 18, 2005 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Western Campus at the age of 65 years. Best friend and devoted wife to George sharing 43 years of marriage. Loving mother of Scott and wife Melanie.Cherished grandmother of MacKenzie and Hunter. Predeceased by her parents William and Jean Hewitt. Dear sister of Arthur Hewitt and his late wife Donna, Marjorie Counsell and her late husband Harry, Christina Bratt and her late husband Robert, predeceased by Harold Hewitt and survived by his wife Clara, Douglas Hewitt and wife Elizabeth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. June will be forever loved and remembered by those who knew her, especially by her many dear friends. June was past president of Salvation Army Grace Hospital Ladies Evening Auxillary, also served on the Board of Governor's at Salvation Army Grace Hospital. She was a Deaconess at Giles Blvd. Christian Church for several years and a junior bowling coach for many years at Crescent Lanes. Visitation at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home 1700 Tecumseh Road East on Tuesday December 20, 2005 from 7-9 pm & Wednesday 2-5 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service on Thursday December 22, 2005 at 11:00am in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
