Julie Marie Lee, 51, was called to heaven on August 26th, 2011 after a very courageous battle with advanced ovarian cancer. She is survived by her husband Mike; their daughter, Jennifer and husband Josh Bosley; and grandson, Brendan of DeLand, FL; their son, Ryan and fiancée Ashleigh; and granddaughters, Maddison, Makalei, and Aryana of Deltona, FL. Julie is also survived by her parents, Robert and Shirley Lange of Lake Mary, FL; in-laws, Bill and Beverly Lee of Murphysboro, IL; sister, Teresa and husband Bill Jickell of Winter Park, FL; and brothers, Steven of Tucson, AZ, Chris of DeBary, FL, Mark and wife Diane of Everett, WA, and David and wife Sherry of Deltona, FL; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Julie was very close to her family and will be missed by all. Julie was born February 11th, 1960 in Salem, OR. She attended schools in Monmouth, OR, Las Cruces, NM, Westerville, OH, and graduated from high school in Fort Collins, CO. Julie and Mike, a Seminole County Fireman, were married in Fort Collins, CO. on Sept. 19, 1981 and moved to Florida in 1987. Julie was a human resource specialist with the Seminole County Health Department after serving in a similar position for K-mart in Lake Mary. Julie was a gentle person who always found the positive side of other people. She always expressed more concern for other people than herself and was a helpful soul. She enjoyed shopping, as well as cooking and reading with her grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Holloway, the chemo lab, and all of the staff at Florida Hospital Cancer Institute for their care and support. Funeral arrangements are being directed by Deltona Memorial Funeral Home (386-775-4260). A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 3, 2011, at Trinity Assembly of God, 875 Elkam Blvd, Deltona, FL. Following services, a potluck gathering will be held at the family home in Deltona.
