PICKETT, JOSEPH WILLIAM age 97 of Pea Ridge, AL passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mattie Harris Pickett. He is survived by his daughters, Barbara P. Lawley (Dewey) of Pea Ridge, Judy P. Fox (Kenneth) of Pelham; son, Michael J. Boothe of Helena; and brother, Alford Pickett (Inez) of Pea Ridge. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Joseph was a devoted member of Christian Mission Church in Pea Ridge. The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Donald Kwong and the staff of SE Hospice. Funeral services will be held at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel, Montevallo, on Tuesday, October 4th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tommy Bass officiating.
