JOHN WILLIAM CHENOWETH, IIIDecember 19, 2012John William Chenoweth III, of Estero, Florida, died on December 19, 2012 after a mighty battle against pancreatic cancer. John fought to the end and passed peacefully with his wife, Susan by his side. John was born October 5, 1940 in Bethany, Missouri to the late Dr. John William Chenoweth and Dorothy Chenoweth. John grew up in Harrison County, Missouri where he attended the same school for 12 years. John served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve. John was married to Barbara Jane Noe in 1961. He received his undergraduate college degree from Northwest Missouri State University in 1963 and subsequently a Master of Accounting from the University of Kansas. Professionally, John was a Certified Public Accountant. In 1978 John and his family moved to Florida. For 17 years he was the Regional Reimbursement Manager for the Humana Hospital Group. John then became engaged in several business and professional ventures. After a prolonged illness, Barbara passed in 2007. John married Susan Carol (Misner) Chenoweth in 2009. John spent his final year's actively embracing life by dancing, traveling, riding his beloved Harley Davidson motorcycle, and playing golf.John is survived by his wife, Susan; children, Brooke Ann Chenoweth and Brian Scott Chenoweth, both residing in Hollywood, California; and sister, Tyra Seymour of Palm Desert, California. John was preceded by his parents and brother, Scott Chenoweth. A memorial service will be held at the Estero Methodist Church, 8088 Lords Way Street, Estero, Florida 33928, on January 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
