RALSTON, Sgt. John Reed,III, a lifetime resident ofMontgomery, AL, died onMay 20, 2008. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m.,Thursday, May 22, 2008 withmilitary honors from AlabamaHeritage Cemetery. Mr. Ralston is survived by his devoted wife, Charlene P. Ralstonand three loving daughters,Sydnie G. Ralston of Montgomery, AL, Dayna N. Strainof Jacksonville, FL, Cindy N.Hover of Montgomery, ALand one son, Jeff E. Hollon ofMontgomery, AL; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two nieces and onenephew. He is preceded indeath by his parents, Rev.John R. Ralston, Jr. and AvisSpeed Ralston, both of Montgomery and two sisters, Elizabeth Radcliff of Andalusia, ALand Jean Ralston of Montgomery, AL. Sgt. Ralston wasa Purple Heart recipient of theU.S. Marine Corp. Mr. JerryFinkelstein, a longtime friendand mentor of John's will givethe eulogy. Family andfriends will gather at thegraveside to pay their final respects.
