John Patrick Hanley, of Scarsdale, died August 16, 2004, age 59. Born April 10, 1945 in St. Louis, MO to William and Marjorie Hanley. "Pat", as he was known to family and friends, was a graduate of Immaculate Heart of Mary Grammar School in Scarsdale, Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, Georgetown University, and the Wharton "School of The University of Pennsylvania. After serving in the Army National Guard, he was employed for many years as a C.P.A. with Price Waterhouse & Co, before joining Hanley Associates, an Executive Recruiting and Financial Consulting Company on Park Avenue in NYC. In his spare time, he enjoyed hiking in many locales with his wife and son, but especially loved Glacier National Park in Montana, where the family spent many summer vacations. He is survived by his beloved wife, Laurene; his son, John; three brothers: Richard, Philip and Lawrence and a sister, Claire. Visitation will be Friday, August 20 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at Bennett's Funeral Home, with a Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 21 at 10 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scarsdale.
