HENDERSON, JOHN MARTIN (MARTY)John Martin Henderson (Marty), a W. Harrison resident, died March 21, 2005. He was 55. He was born July 6, 1949 in Staten Island to George Theodore and Helen Henderson. Marty received his bachelors from Colgate Univ. and his masters from The College of New Rochelle. He was a teacher at The Franco Middle School in Mt. Vernon for over 20 years, and has worked at the Copper Beach Middle School in Shrub Oak for the past two years. His second residence was in Davenport, NY. Marty is survived by his mother, Helen Henderson of St. Petersburg, FL; his daughters: Sara Meghan Henderson of Sharon, CT and Hillary Erin Henderson of Dover Plains, NY. Also surviving are his brothers: George E. Henderson of St. Petersburg, FL, and Roy R. and Brice J. Henderson, both of Califon, NJ. His sisters: Ellen Storey of Upper Marlboro, MD; Brigid E. Rodin of Andover, MA and Sheila Billingsley of Blue Diamond, NV. He is also survived by his companion, Carolyn Mayo and her sons: Gregory Nicholas, and Christopher Robert Mayo, all of W. Harrison. He is predeceased by his father, George Theodore Henderson; a brother, Carl Henderson and sister, Honorah Henderson. Visiting will be Wednesday 5-9 pm.
