John J. Williamsformerly of Johnson CityJohn J. Williams, 92, formerly of Johnson City, died Monday afternoon, February 21, 2005, in Marietta, Ga., where he had lived the last seven years with his son, Robert and family. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Catherine Williams; and a son, Ronald Williams. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Judy Williams, Marietta, Ga., Carl and Judy Williams, Vandalla, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; a brother, Louis Williams; two sisters, Lucy Rufo and Frances Trano, all of New York City; several nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton, and retired from Endicott-Johnson Corp. after 45 years of service.Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Saturday at 8:30 a.m., and at 9 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of John may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of the Southern Tier, 1406 Monroe St., Endicott, N.Y. 13760.
