WILLIAMS John J., 79, of Ridgewood, on October 21, 2008. Born in Brooklyn, raised in Manhattan, and a Village resident for 44 years. He served proudly both in the New York and New Jersey National Guard retiring as a Captain. He was also a member of the 7th Regiment Armory. Prior to his retirement, he worked at Yasuda Fire and Marine and AIG in New York.Husband of 53 years to Lois A. Williams, he is also survived by his brother Paul of Briarcliff Manor, NY, devoted father to Gregory Williams and his wife Aimee of Wyckoff, Donna Yeung and her husband Jonathan of Orlando, Fl, and Jeffrey Williams and his wife Cynthia of New York City. Loving grandfather of Sean Yeung, and Cali, Sara and Jake Williams.He was a member of the New York Society of Model Engineers serving both as President and Treasurer.Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral to be held Tuesday, October 28th, 9 AM at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave. Ridgewood, followed by a mass of Christian burial to be held at Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, 1 Passaic Street, Ridgewood at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
