John J. Hanlon, a lifelong resident of Eastchester died on May 23, 2002. He was the son of Denis and Rose Hanlon. He married Alice Joan Mitchell on August 7, 1944. Mr. Hanlon was a policeman in Bronxville from 1947 to 1970. After retirement John became Personnel Manager of Burns International Security. He then had his own security business, P.H.S., until 1987. Mr. Hanlon served in the US Air Force from 1943 to 1946. He is survived by his loving wife Alice, a daughter Maureen Zificsak, two sons Richard and Dennis, three sisters Helen Brass, Margaret Ecklond and Johanna Knight and eight grandchildren.
