John H. "Jack" Harrington, of Sebastian, FL, formerly of Pleasantville, died March 13, 2003 at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian, FL from an extended illness. He was 76. Mr. Harrington was born on January 10, 1927 in the Bronx and moved to Sebastian, FL 11 years ago from Pleasantville. He was a 1954 graduate of New York University. Prior to retirement, he worked as a civil engineer. Mr. Harrington served in the Navy during WWII. Surviving is his wife of 51 years, Hedwig Harrington of Sebastian, FL; son, John H. Harrington of Easton, CT; two daughters: Diane H. Eaker of Redding, CT and Linda J. Porter of LaGrangeville, NY; brother, James R. Harrington of Sebastian, FL; sister-in-law Elizabeth Harrington of Sebastian, FL and eight grandchildren. Resting Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Beecher Funeral Home, Pleasantville, where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, 10 AM. Interment, Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY.
