GRANT, John H. III (Jerry), 70, a resident of Montgomery, died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, after an extended illness in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Brooks-Cargile Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Northcutt officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Katrina Culpepper Grant; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Milton Grant and Sharon, Wetumpka, Mike Grant, Wetumpka, David and Cindy Grant, Montgomery and Charles Grant, Montgomery; one sister, Joyce Dieckman, Montgomery, AL; aunt, DeAlva Cloud; seven grandchildren, Jared, Taylor, Ava, Evan, Jordan, Rocky and Mitchell Grant. The family request donations be made to the Highland Gardens Baptist Church Pew or Sound System Fund.
