TUSCALOOSA John Frederick Duggar III, age 86, formerly of Atlanta, Ga., died July 4, 2008, at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Private burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Auburn. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.F. Duggar, Jr. and Edna Rivers Duggar, and brother, Llewellyn Haynes Duggar, all of Hope Hull, Ala.Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Duggar Franklin of Tuscaloosa; nieces, Saxon McKeen of Overland Park, Kan., Fleming Tartt of Demopolis, Martha Shamp of Auburn, Wendy Duggar of Montgomery, and Elizabeth Archibald of Mobile; and nephew, Dr. Robert Franklin of Lafayette, La.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Sandy Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery Fund in Sandy Ridge, Ala., the Alzheimer's Research Foundation, or Hospice of West Alabama.
