CARTER, JohnPeacefully at home on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the age of 86 surrounded by his family. Devoted husband of 49 years to Raymonde Carter (née Bouchard). Caring and gentle father to Christine (Bruce Farber), Denis (Jennipher Carter) and Martin (Anastasia Salycheva). Proud and loving grandfather to Caroline Farber, Anfisa Carter and Makena Carter. Survived by his brothers Ted (late Joan) and Frank (Mary-Jo), sister Marie Mitchell and sisters and brothers in-law Ghyslaine and Gilles Larose, Andrée and William Tuss and Pierre and Mary Bouchard. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Coulombe, her whole team and his excellent caregivers Bibiana and Galina. Friends may pay respects at Eglise Ste Geneviève, 825 Canterbury Avenue, on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at his favourite stomping grounds.
