ANDERSON, JOANNE, 65The Villages - Joanne Anderson, 65, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Beloved wife of 47 years to Charles Anderson. Loving mother of four children: Anthony, Edward, Paul and Rebecca. Beloved grandmother to her eight beautiful grandchildren: Kathryn and Kristine (Anthony), Marisa, Christian and Peyton, (Edward and wife Teresa), Eric and Brady (Paul and wife Colby), and Jacob (Rebecca and husband Mike). Joanne was the daughter of the late Antonio and Lucille DiIorio, and dear sister of Marilyn McCormack. Joanne was born in Detroit, Michigan, where she graduated from St. Anthony High School. She later moved to Sterling Heights, where she raised her family and lived for over 35 years. Over the past 10 years, Joanne and Charles also enjoyed spending the cold Michigan winters in their home in The Villages, Florida. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2012, at the Calcaterra Funeral Home in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
