Obituary of Joan-Mary Carter

JOAN MARY CARTER Peacefully, at home with family by her side, on Sunday, August 24, 2014. Our mom and grandma courageously fought her second battle with cancer. Predeceased by her beloved husband Bob (June 2013). Loved mother of Robin and her husband Don Luckhurst, Tammy and her husband Jim Brkovich. Best grandma ever to Carly and Victoria Hills and Jessica Brkovich. Joan will be missed by her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, as well as her nieces, great-nieces, nephews and many friends. Predeceased by her brother David Suggitt and her son-in-law Stuart Hills. Many thanks to mom's nurses and caregivers for the wonderful care she received. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Toronto (between Islington and Kipling Aves.), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral Service will be held at St. Matthew's Anglican Church, 3962 Bloor St. W, Toronto, on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 11 o'clock. Cremation to follow.
