Joan J. Brown, 67, died Friday, December 27, 2002 in Randolph, VT. Born April 2, 1935 in NYC, the daughter of Svend E. and Rachel (Swanson) Jensen. Joan attended NYC schools and graduated from Eastchester H.S. in 1953. She worked at the Fred F. French Co. in NYC and later, at the New York City Spa. She married Robert J. Brown October 15, 1957 in Yonkers. Mr. Brown died in 1998. Mrs. Brown moved to Bethel, VT permanently in 1998. She is survived by her two daughters: Leslie Brown and Sandra Brown, both of Bethel; two brothers: Robert Jensen of Montauk, NY and Irv Jensen of Des Moines, IA; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Friends are invited to visit with her family on Sunday, January 5, 1-4 PM at her daughter Leslie Brown's home, 183 River St., Bethel, VT.
