DAVIS, JERRY A., age 68, of Mount Dora, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2005. Born April 14, 1937 in Harlan County, Kentucky to Poley Oscar and Sadie Ann (Young) Davis. Jerry moved to Central Florida in 1965 from Tennessee. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the Construction industry. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by son Jerry Davis, Jr. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Pearl Davis of Mount Dora; son, Michael (Sheila) Davis of Orlando, and daughters, Linda Carol (Larry) Grimm of Campbell, Ohio, Brenda Gail Davis of Mount Dora, Phyllis (Guy) Hubbard of Winter Garden, Amy Christina Taylor of Tennessee; brothers, Poley Oscar (Wanda) Davis, Jr. of Tennessee, Joe E. (Betty) Davis of Tennessee, Paul A. (Janice) Davis of California; and grandchildren, Sheena, Summer, Brandon, Jeffery, Nicholas and Nickole. Visitation will be held Friday, December 02, 2005 from 6-8PM. Services will be held Saturday, December 03, 2005 at 11AM both at Loomis Family Funeral Home Chapel, 420 West Main Street, Apopka.
