Obituary of Jean-Trammell Jackson


JACKSON, JEAN TRAMMELL,devoted wife and mother, wenthome to be with her Lord andSavior on December 25, 2006.Mrs. Jackson was a longtimemember of Lakeside BaptistChurch where she served faithfully. She was a fine Christianlady. She was preceded indeath by her parents, Ross andEthel Trammell and her sister,Gertrude Walker. She is survived by her husband, ByronCarey Jackson; daughters,Lynne Jackson Roberson (Jerry) and Charlene Sims (John);son, Mark Jackson (Allison); sixgrandchildren, Amanda Roberson, Jackson Owen, Tyler Sims,Haylie Sims, Carey Jackson IIand Jordan Jackson; four sisters, Faye Graham, MargaretWilliams (Leon), Ruth Lloyd(Homer) and Tommie Lou Williams (Bob); two brothers, Dowell Trammell (Joyce), BobbyTrammell (Judy); and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at10:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at LakesideBaptist Church with Mike McLemore, Dr. Earl Tew and Rev.Gary Burton officiating. Burialwill follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.The family will receive friends atLakeside Baptist Church onWednesday, December 27,2006 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00P.M. A memorial service willalso be held at Pintlala BaptistChurch in Hope Hull, Alabamaon Wednesday, December 27,2006 at 10 A.M. with Rev. GaryBurton officiating. In lieu offlowers, donations may bemade to the Alzheimer's Research Foundation or the Lymphoma Society.
