AUGUSTA -- Jean M. Carey, 91, passed away Aug. 20, 2010, with her children by her side.Jean was born in Rumford. She graduated from Farmington Normal School and taught school for several years before becoming a homemaker. She resided in Augusta while married to H. Lloyd Carey. She later moved to Florida to reside with her daughter Candy and her husband Carl for many years.She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia "Candy" and her husband, Carl Morse, of San Antonio, Texas; her son, John "JAC" Carey, of Brunswick; her son, Craig and his wife, Lynda Carey, of West Poland; her daughter, Lydia and her husband, David, of Readfield; also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Many thanks to the wonderful caregivers at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Nursing Care at Glenridge in Augusta.Her 91st birthday was a celebration of her life, spent with friends and family. At her request there will be no funeral.
