JOHNSON, JEAN "COACH"Jean "Coach" Johnson, of Millbrook and formerly longtime resident of Carmel, NY, passed away on Saturday, December 11th, at the age of 82. He worked for nearly 30 years as the Director of Athletics for Carmel Schools. He was a World War II Veteran, he proudly served his country as a Medic. Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of Anna and Edward Johnson. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Lorraine; one son, Cris Johnson of Golden's Bridge, NY; three daughters and sons-in-law: Cynthia and Thomas Fazio of West Newbury, MA; Lynn and John Feehan of Hopewell Jct., NY, and Virginia and Andrew Wandell of Pembroke, MA, and thirteen wonderful grandchildren. A private Memorial Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Carmel Athletic Scholarship Fund/Coach Johnson Scholarship, 30 Fair Street, Carmel, NY 10512.
