JOHNSON, JEAN HOSS Jean Hoss Johnson, age 85 of Birmingham, AL passed away peacefully on March 5, 2013. She was a member of Huffman United Methodist Church and was a Stephen Minister. She was an avid ballroom dancer and belonged to several dance organizations and an excited Alabama Fan. She retired from the Blood Bank Industry and experienced a wonderful retirement . She is preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Hoss and Harry Johnson. She is survived by her daughters, Julia Moon (David) and Claudia Hoss; step-daughter, Jada Little (Jerry); grandchildren, Ginger Henry (Donald), Brad Turner, April Cartee (Jason), and Information Systems Technician Second Class Seabee Combat Warfare, Surface Warfare, Ryan Moon; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Services will be on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Dr. Jim Robey and Rev. Richard Hanna will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
