Jean Elizabeth "Jeanne" Johnson, 32, Florence, died Tuesday, June 24, 2003. She was a graduate of Bradshaw High School and the University of North Alabama, where she was active in volleyball and softball. She was a member of College View Church of Christ and was employed at Hibbett Middle School, where she was a teacher and coach.She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Rebecca Ellen Johnson; and grandfathers, William W. Johnson III and Verbon T. Jones of Florence.Survivors include her parents, Jimmy and Gail Johnson; siblings, Katie Johnson Mitchell and husband, Bryan, Nashville, Tenn., Andrew Johnson and wife, Martha Taylor, Birmingham, David Johnson and Jessica Johnson; grandmothers, Elizabeth Gainer Johnson and Jean Wade Jones, all of Florence; and extended family and dear friends.Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2003, and the funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2003, both at Greenview Memorial. Funeral services will be conducted by Harold V. Comer and Frank Richey.Pallbearers include Les Johnson, Rustin Johnson, Warren Johnson, Nathan Johnson, Wade Jones and Bobby Griffin. Honorary pallbearers are Brad Jones and Leldon Jones.
