JANET CAMERON JACKSON (nee SCALLON) Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at age 70 following her long battle with cancer at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, ON. She fought hard with the help and compassion of many doctors, nurses and staff at both Mackenzie Health and Southlake hospitals. Our family would like to thank them all for their care and support. Daughter of the late William and Georgina (Ina) Scallon. Beloved wife of predeceased John (Jackie) Jackson, mother of John (wife Tabitha) and Gina (husband Claudio Villa). She will be truly missed by her four beloved grandchildren Cassandra, Cameron, Sarina and MacKenzie. Sister of Pat, Isabel and Billy -- all predeceased -- and Douglas, Cathy and John. Janet touched everyone who knew her and all will feel the void that she has left in the world. She will be so sadly missed. Friends may call at Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, on Friday, January 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday, January 17th at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 10295 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, followed by interment at Elgin Mills Cemetery, also in Richmond Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation, 102-581 Davis Drive, Newmarket, ON, L3Y 2P6.
