WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Ivory L. Johnson of Winter Haven died of heart failure Tuesday (Sept. 3, 2002) at Winter Haven Hospital. She was 83.Born in Monticello on July 28, 1919, she came to Winter Haven from there 67 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Independent Pallbearers Society. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church where she was a deaconess and usher.She is survived by her husband, Link Johnson Sr.; sons, Walter Johnson, Link Johnson Jr., both of Winter Haven; daughter, Delores Ganzy, Winter Haven; sister, Mattie James, Winter Haven; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at First Missionary Baptist Church.
