LaborerMULBERRY -- Mr. Ivan Smith of Mulberry died of pancreatic cancer Wednesday (Nov. 19, 2003) at home. He was 44.Born in Lakeland on Dec. 4, 1959, he came to Mulberry from Miami eight years ago. He was a laborer for a feed company. He was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Cynthia Smith; sons, Ivan Smith Jr., Denzel Smith, Quinton Austin, Ivan Smith III, all of Miami; daughters, Shakia Williams, Deneka Smith, Sharda Smith and Kaisha Austin, all of Miami; mother, Jeraldine Walker, Mulberry; father, Waymon Smith, Miami. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 this evening at Charles A. Lewis Funeral Home, 609 W. Memorial Blvd. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 5734 Old State Road 37.
