MacKENZIE, (FERGUSON) Isabell Christena nee McIntosh 1912 - 2007 Peacefully at the Winchester District Hospital on Monday July 30, 2007 in her 95th year. Life Member of Hope Chapter #184, Ottawa, Life Member of #310, Winchester Chapter, Winchester, ON. Past District Deputy, Grand Matron, 1990-91, of the District 14 of The Order of The Eastern Star of Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Ralph J. MacKenzie of Winchester, formerly of Finch, ON and the late Douglas D. Ferguson of Ottawa. Loving mother of Robert (Bob) Ferguson (Patricia), Dorothy Ferguson-Robinson, William (Bill) Ferguson (Joan). Cherished grandmother to Robert A. Ferguson (Ann Kerwin), Toronto, Susan Halvorsen (John) of Kanata, Julia McKenna (Ron), Ottawa, Douglas Robinson (Jill) of Finch, ON, Andrea Graham (Cameron) of Ottawa and Christina Ferguson, Toronto. Very special "G.G." to Bryn and Rees Ferguson, Tove, Mats and Britt Halvorsen, Dylan and Katherine Isabell McKenna, Dougie and Bobby Robinson, Kieran and Ewan Graham. Also survived by her sister Jessie Hudson of Almonte. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Christena McIntosh of Moose Creek and Ottawa, and her sisters Ann (Rutherford) Palmetier, Alberta (Ogilvie) Campbell, Alexina Gliddon and her brother Hugh John McIntosh. Isabell lead a very full and active life, participating in her bridge groups, church organizations and Eastern Star. Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave. at Richmond Rd., Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm and from 10 am Friday, August 3, 2007 until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:30 am with reception to follow. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. David Flowers for his wonderful care to our Mother over the many years, and to Dr. Kate Darbyshire.
