LEE, Isabel Passed on to Heaven on December 26, 2014. The third of six children, she was born in Victoria on May 25, 1924 to Dick and Doi Oi Lee. After graduating from Victoria High School, she worked for the B.C. Provincial Government-Tourism. Isabel was a member of the Oak Bay United Church. She volunteered with the Victoria Intercultural Association. After her sister, Anna, was widowed, she helped to raise her nephew and niece. Much appreciated by her family, she was an avid knitter, seamstress and baker. She journeyed with her family to Asia and Europe numerous times. Isabel was known for her kind, happy and vibrant personality. Isabel was predeceased by her father and mother; brothers, Gum Tong, Gordon and Kenneth and her sister, Muriel Peyrek (Dick). She is survived by her sister, Anna Ling; nephew, Chris Ling (Darlene); niece, Margot Ling; grand nephew, Robin Ling (Minako and great grandniece, Aila) and grand nephew, Ryan Ling. A Memorial Service will be held at McCall's Bros. Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Royal Oak Burial Park.
