MILLER , Iris Patricia (nee Sloan) Born in Landis, Saskatchewan, on September 7, 1928, daughter of Beatrice and Clarence Sloan. Iris lost her husband Leonard of fifty-nine years in 2008. She is survived by her daughter Susan (Llyle) and her son Doug; three grandchildren Jodi (Mitch), Olivia and Kyle and two great-grandsons, Carter and Parker. Mom enjoyed her independence and was feisty to the end. A Memorial Service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 3704 - 37 Street S.W., Calgary, (Telephone 403-242-1808) on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend D.
