A memorial service for Irene Virginia Miller, 72, of Weaver, was held Monday, February 23, 2015 at 6 p.m. at the Weaver First United Methodist Church with Rev. Matt Headley officiating. Mrs. Miller died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at her residence. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, John Miller of Weaver; four daughters, Terry McKesson and her husband Randy of Weaver, Terri Meyer and her husband, Craig of Villa Rica, GA, Virginia Tomes and her husband, Michael of Maineville, OH, and Karen McNeill and her husband, Doug of Oakland Park, FL; three sons, Rick Melvin and his wife, Laura of Naples, FL, Dan Melvin and his wife, Kim of West Monroe, NY, and James Miller of Cheektowaga, NY; grandchildren, Randy McKesson, Casey McKesson, Charlene Melvin, Jordon Melvin, Dan Melvin, Bridgette Melvin, Mikayla Lapahuska, John Meyer, Annabelle Tomes, Grift Tomes and Deanna James; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy King and her husband, Bruce of North Syracuse, NY and Janet Staats and her husband, Richard of York, PA; six nieces and nephews. Mrs. Miller was a native of Syracuse, New York and resided in Weaver.
