ST. CYR, Irene DorothyIrene St. Cyr (nee Carter), passed away peacefully on January 9th, four days short of her 94th birthday, surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved mother of Jo-Ann (Len Cormier), Douglas (Michelle), Philip (Jean). Loving grandmother and cherished "Dee Dee" of Kristina, Greg (Deanna) and Michael (Emily). Fondly remembered "Dee Dee" of Kristina and Tom, Justin, Val and Nova. Beloved Great-grandmother to Harmony, Avery and Ever. Cherished sister of Mary O'Toole. Predeceased by her siblings Leonard, Gladys, and Joyce. Profoundly missed by her sister in law Thelma Murphy and many nieces, nephews and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and joy and will be forever in our hearts. Visitation will take place at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa On K1V1A6. from 11am to 12 noon on Saturday, January 25, 2014. Funeral service will follow at 12 Noon in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
