Obituary of Irene Roy


Irène Boucher, 91, wife of the late George Boucher, of High Street, Moncton passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton following a brief illness. Born October 6, 1912, in Cocagne, she was the daughter of the late Francis Roy and Arthémise (LeBlanc) Roy. She will be sadly missed by a daughter, Dorine Roy (Lionel) of Moncton; two sons, Arthur (Flore) of Montreal, Donald (Marguerite) of Bellingham, MA; two brothers, Alban (Thérèse) of NotreDame, Robert (Emelia) of Cocagne; one half-sister, Jeanita Belliveau (Yvon) of Scoudouc; one sister-in-law, Cora Boucher of Grande-Digue; eight grandchildren, Dianne, Richard, Robert, Michel, Pierre, Danielle, Bernard, Charline; four great grandchildren, Alexandre, Joshua, Olivier and Eliane. Besides her husband, George. She is predeceased by three sisters, Elise, Delia, Ida and two brothers, Henri and Tilmon. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900). Visiting hours on Monday 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m., on Tuesday 9:30 a.m. until time of departure 10:10a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30a.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at Christ-Roi Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In her memory donations to the Dr. Georges-L.
