Irene Humphries Morris, 93, of 63 Blackstock Road, Inman, but formerly of 211 Twin Valley Road, Duncan, S.C., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, at Magnolia Manor of Inman.A native of Chesnee, S.C., she was the daughter of the late General Bryson and Alma Watkins Humphries and was the widow of Archie B. Morris.She is survived by a son, Joel Morris of Duncan; one sister, Tressie Shaw of Lyman; three brothers, Howard Humphries of Campobello, William E. Humphries of Duncan, and Bryson Humphries of Spartanburg; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church.Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, S.C., at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27, with the Rev. Gary Hensley officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Greer, S.C. The family is at the home of her son Joel, 209 Twin Valley Road, Duncan, S.C., and will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 at Seawright Funeral Home.
