OLIVER, Irene Grace (nee Rodmell) - Passed away peacefully after a brief illness following surgery for a fractured hip at St. Joseph's Health Centre on Saturday, March 27, 2010 in her 91st year. Mom was a Dietitian at Wellesley Hospital before her marriage to Ernie, her husband of 62 years. Loving caregiver to all her family, her parents the late George and Florence Rodmell and those she leaves behind: husband Ernie, sons Richard (Maureen) and David. Loving aunt to Doreen Burke (David) of Los Angeles and great- aunt to her children Michael (Michelle) and Linda Ceballos (Marco) and their children. Longtime member of The Church of St. Wilfrid. Mom enjoyed Scottish Country Dancing and The Gilbert & Sullivan Society. Our thanks to Dr. Sue-A-Quan and the staff at 3rd East Nursing at St. Joseph's Health Centre for their compassionate care. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter 'Butler' Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke (between Islington and Kipling Aves.) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at The Church of St. Wilfrid, 1315 Kipling Ave., Etobicoke on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 1 p.m. with visitation at the church beginning at 12 p.m. Interment Prospect Cemetery.
