CONCORD -- Irene Frieda Boisvert, 92, died March 28, 2010, at Pleasant View Nursing Home. Born in Hooksett, she was the daughter of Frederic and Florine (Letendere) Bibeau. She grew up in Concord, moving there when she was age 10. She attended Sacred Heart School and the Notre Dame School of Nursing in Manchester where she studied to be a registered nurse. She received her bachelor's degree from New England College. She worked for the Margaret Pillsbury Hospital as a private duty nurse and later at Concord Hospital. For 24 years she was administrator of the Mental Health Workers Program at New Hampshire Hospital. During World War II, she served in the U.S. Army Nurse Cadet Corp. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and was part of the Ever Young Group and the Carmelite Guild. Family members include two sons, Martin J. Boisvert of Texas and Marc Jacques Boisvert of Concord; four grandchildren and two nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Boisvert in 1993. SERVICES: Calling hours are Wednesday from 11 a.m.to 12:45 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Concord. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 52 Pleasant St., Concord. Burial will follow at Blossom Hill Cemetery.
