DAVIS, Irene Elizabeth (nee Willgress) August 1, 1920 December 24, 2005 It is with sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Irene Davis, December 24, 2005. Irene passed away quietly with her three children, John, Geoff and Joan at her side. Our Mom was born in Parksville, BC and spent her childhood life on the farm just north of Nanoose Bay. She attended Normal School at the then Victoria College (now Camosun College) on Lansdowne. Irene married Charles W. Davis and spent the majority of her life in Kimberley, where she worked tirelessly as an elementary teacher. She was a loving mother who joined in many family activities such as camping, canoeing, golf, picnics and others. Her husband and our father died in 1996 and his ashes were cast into the Pacific Ocean at Long Beach. It is our Mother's wish to have her ashes joined with her late husband. This we will do. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Canadian Diabetes Society or the BC Cancer Foundation. 189879
