Williams, Ira Lois ALBANY Ira Lois Williams of Grandview Terrace, Albany peacefully departed this life on Thursday, April 5, 2007 at home. Wife of the late Alvin A. Williams; mother of Gregory Williams of Gloversville, N.Y., Darren Williams (Virginia) Williams of Chath-am, N.Y., Everett (Tia) Williams of East Manhattan, N.Y., Mark and Mary Williams, both of Albany, N.Y. Also survived by two sisters, Alma (Oliver) Banks of Gilbertown, Ala., Arlene (Jesse) Young of Colonie, N.Y.; three brothers, Felton (Delois) Edwards of East Greenbush, N.Y., Theodore and Will Ned (Juanita) Edwards of Albany, N.Y.; one aunt, Deana Sims of Detroit, Mich.; one uncle, Ned Sims of Los Angles, Calif.; daughter-in-law of Robert H. Williams Sr.; sister-in-law of Robert H. Williams Jr. and Linda Williams, all of Baton Rouge, La. and Helena Williams of Denver, Colo.; two goddaughters, Lucille Davis and Dana Jones of Albany, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service Tuesday 12 noon at Garland Bros. Funeral Home, 75 Clinton Ave., Albany. Calling hours 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will be in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
