Ila Mae Smith, 82, Nokomis, died Sept. 9, 2003. She was born March 4, 1921, in Wheeling Island, W.Va., and came to Nokomis two years ago from Uhrichsville, Ohio. She was a seamstress for Hall Glove Co. in Uhrichsville. She was a Presbyterian. Survivors include her husband, Robert H.; a daughter, Lynn M. of Grapevine, Texas; a sister, Marjorie M. Brewer of Nokomis; and brothers Joseph of Nokomis and Robert of Clovis, N.M. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Ewing Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
