Elle était la mère bien-aimée d'Alain Legault (Cristine) de Québec, Natalie Belanger, Crystal Pouta (Stephen) et Sheila Belanger (Denis Lacroix) tous de Sudbury. Elle était la grand-mère chérie de Dominique, Thomas, Mathieu et Juliette. Chère fille de feu Pete et de feu Élizabeth (Martin) Legault. Elle était la chère soeur de Denise Lavoie (Roland) de Sudbury, Jeanine Mader (Garth) d'Orléans, Peter (Brenda) de Angus, David (Donna) de Nouveau-Brunswick et Lise Legault-Miller (Brian) de Hanmer. Elle sera regrettée par plusieurs nièces, neveux et leurs familles. Les heures de visites auront lieu à la MAISON FUNÉRAIRE JACKSON & BARNARD, 233 rue Larch, Sudbury, le jeudi de 14h à 17h et de 19h à 21h et le vendredi à compter de 11h. Le service funéraire sera célébré à la chapelle R.J. Barnard, le vendredi 4 mai 2007, à 13h. L'inhumation des cendres aura lieu sur le lot familial au cimetière catholique de Sudbury. Des dons à la Fondation des maladies du coeur ou le CNIB-INCA seraient appréciés. Born and raised in Sudbury, she moved to Gatineau 9 years ago. She had been working at the Department of Indian Affairs with the Canadian Government. Always quick to help others, Ida had been a scout leader and C.N.I.B. Blind Bowling volunteer. She had a great affinity for animals, especially cats. She enjoyed travelling, reading and crafts. A passionate person, Ida inspired everyone she met with her thoughtfulness, generosity and unselfishness. She had the wonderful gift of making people feel special with her positive attitude which brought light and love to the challenges of daily living. Her gifts of hugs and kisses will be cherished in the hearts of all who knew her. The focus of her life was her family who knew her blessing of love and laughter will guide their lives with encouragement and empowerment.
