Obituary of Ida-Marion Lee


PRICE, IDA MARION (LEE) - Peacefully at the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour NB on May 9th, 2007, Mrs. I. Marion (Lee) Price, wife of the late Donald A. Price, formerly of St. George NB. Born in St. George on March 22nd, 1920 she was a daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude (Noble) Lee. A loving aunt she is survived by sisters-in-law, Myrtle Lee of St. George, Helene Price of Nackawic NB, and Marion Scott of Fredericton NB, special friend Hayes Tracy of Blacks Harbour, and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three brothers, Ralph, Everett and Jed, three sisters, Sadie Holt, Louise Kernighan and Celia Hoyt. Prior to her retirement, Marion worked at the Post Office in St. George and for many years, along with her family, delivered the rural mail throughout the local area. She loved camping and was an avid dog lover. Marion will be fondly remembered as being a great cook. She was a member of the OES Granite Chapter # 15 in St. George. By Marion's request there will be no visiting, although there will be a graveside service at the St. George Rural Cemetery on Saturday at 1:00 pm with Rev. Mary Ann Langmaid officiating. In her memory, donations to the St. Mark's Anglican Church, Fundy Nursing Home Chapel Fund or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
