Obituary of Ida-Mae-Rutledge Mitchell

Montgomery - Funeral services for Ida Mae Rutledge Mitchell, 62, formerly of Silver Run, Alabama, will be Saturday, August 6, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Parker Memorial Baptist Church with The Rev. Roger Montgomery officiating. Burial will be Labanon Cemetery. Ida passed away on July 31, 2011 in Montgomery. She graduated top of the class in 1966 at Othelia S. Hill High School then graduated from Alabama A&M College in Huntsville. She was a member of AKA Sorority. She retired from Lockheed Martin Corp. in Houston, Texas. Survivors include her son, Kenneth James Mitchell of Houston, Texas; her father, Osburn Rutledge Sr., of Silver Run; siblings, Mary Lynn Rutledge, of Newport News, Virginia, Osborn Rutledge Jr. (Brenda Davis), of Montgomery, Eric and James Rutledge, of Silver Run.
