Obituary of Ida-Lois Carter

ANDERSON, S.C. - Mrs. Ida Lois Carter, retired educator, departed this life on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at age 98. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel A.M.E. Church, Anderson, South Carolina. Interment will be in Westview Cemetery. Survivors are two devoted daughters, Costella Earline ( Stanley) Martin, Columbus, Ohio and Yvonne Swinger, Simpsonville, South Carolina; two sisters, Ruth B. Crawford, Augusta, Georgia and Costello Laymon, Atlanta, Georgia ( formerly Boston, MA); five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a host of neices, nephews and friends. W. H.
